Hans Place London
Hans place has been nominated for the Brick Development association awards and has past the first stages, the winners will be announced at the Brick Development Assocition awards held at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London on the 9th November 2017.

The external paving has been completed, all the hoardings removed and the pavement open to the public. The last of the internals will be completed very soon.
This project started off at £200,000 but soon esclated to £900,000 with all the extra works Bishops took on to complete the project on time.

Shop fronts on old Quebec street.
New Structural steels consisting of 200 x 150mm box steel with a L shape stainless steel plate bolted to take the existing stone work, 200 x 150mm box steel legs at 2300mm centres, 400 x 200mm box section steel welded to the legs with plates welded and bolted to take the new portland stone facade.

Bishop Developments have been asked to step in to this project half way through as the previous contractors could not complete this mamouth task in the time allocated.
Bishops work force are working seven days a week in order to complete on time, our project manager (Jason Wells) is leading this Frantic but well organised team with Michael Corbett and Sean Wood as his section Foremen.
Bishops are upgrading the existing structural steels to the ground, basement levels 1, 2 and to the shop fronts, introducing new intermediate walkways between Basement 1 & 2, reinstating the ground floor pavement level, building plant rooms at roof level, blockwork to divide the shops, stair wells and colomns to take the new portland stone, forming stairs in mild steel with block suround from basement level 2 up to ground level, forming new fire risers and concreting in the existing.

Three of the four floors are now completed to the party walls which give an amazing contrast to the rest of the interior finishes of white.The brickwork, a mixture of funton Chelsea yellow stocks and Lindfield yellows, The 100mm brickwork in Flemish bond has been used to give the effect of a 215mm party wall with raked out joints.The Ground floor slip bricks ( pre-cut off site) are now under way and looking as good as the upper floors

New Apprentices cut there teeth at 10 Parkway.
Bishops two new Apprentices ( Joe Porter, George Wells ) start laying bricks at 10 Parkway Camden.
The contract consists of face brickwork in flemish bond to the party walls on levels 1,2 and 3. The joints are raked out to give the wall better definition.

Side elevation of 7 Herbert Crescent Consisting of Michelmersh light Victorian reds with 1mm joints in lime putty, a inlay of Lambs red rubbers c & c cut to create star shapes, lime putty mortar with 1mm joints, a terracotta band through the middle and a portland stone band on top.

The internal court yard is completed, the stairs and walls were designed and installed by Bishops using Perryfield Portland stone.
All the stone was cut off site at one of Bishops Reputable suppliers (Farleigh Masonary Ltd).Painstakingly put together by our team of first class masons.

The Portico, shop front has been remodeled using new Travatine stone, this was milled and imported from Italy this is a very tough stone and has to be cut using a high pressure water jet. Bishops Designed and installed all the new Travatine to match the existing shop on the left.
The top has a brass inlay feature band, a molding was taken from the orignal banding and replicated.
